The 2020 Taipei Biennial, titled "You and I Don’t Live on the Same Planet: New Diplomatic Encounters," explores how people engage in dialogue and collision through innovative forms of diplomacy amid contemporary global ecological crises and social divisions. The exhibition transforms the museum into a "Planetarium" symbolizing multiple worldviews, presenting various "planets" that represent diverse positions and attitudes toward globalization, security, escape, alternative gravity, and territorial issues.

More than just an artistic presentation, the entire exhibition serves as an experiment in bridging differences and seeking understanding. It encourages viewers to move beyond traditional binaries and reconsider relationships with one another and the Earth from an open and pluralistic perspective, inspiring reflection and exploration of possibilities for future coexistence. Through these encounters, audiences can grasp the complexity of contemporary challenges and be motivated toward broader understanding and action.
